Bulk Material Delivery Policy

At Tierra Supply Co., we take pride in providing safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of landscape materials. Please review the following delivery policies before placing your order.

Delivery Method

Bulk materials are delivered by dump truck unless a flatbed delivery is specifically selected or arranged. Deliveries are made curbside or to the safest accessible location as determined by our driver.

Driver's Discretion

The final dumping location is always at the driver's discretion. Our drivers will only unload materials where they believe it is safe to do so based on site conditions, vehicle access, overhead obstructions, underground utilities, slope, and ground stability.

For the safety of our employees, customers, equipment, and property, our drivers may refuse any unloading request that could result in damage or create an unsafe condition.

Driveway Deliveries

Customers requesting delivery onto a driveway acknowledge and accept all responsibility for any resulting damage, including but not limited to:

  • Cracked or chipped concrete
  • Asphalt damage
  • Paver settling or movement
  • Surface stains or discoloration
  • Damage caused by the weight of the delivery truck

Please keep in mind delivery trucks can weigh several tons.

Bulk Material Mixing

While every effort is made to keep products separate, slight mixing of two bulk materials may occur during loading, transportation, or unloading. This is especially possible when multiple bulk products are delivered on the same truck.

Minor mixing is considered normal and is not grounds for rejection, refund, or replacement.

Material Acceptance

Please ensure the ordered material matches your needs before scheduling delivery.

If a customer rejects material upon arrival after it has been dispatched, the delivery fee is non-refundable. Additional return or disposal charges may apply if the material must be transported back to our yard.

Customer Responsibilities

Before delivery, the customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring adequate truck access to the delivery location.
  • Removing vehicles and obstacles from the delivery path.
  • Identifying any underground utilities, irrigation lines, septic systems, drain fields, or concealed hazards.
  • Verifying any HOA or neighborhood restrictions.
  • Being available by phone on the day of delivery.

Flatbed Delivery Option

Customers who prefer materials to remain palletized or who require unloading with a forklift should request flatbed delivery when available.

Flatbed delivery may be recommended for:

  • Palletized products
  • Sensitive driveways
  • Limited-access locations
  • Jobs requiring materials to remain packaged

Additional charges may apply.

Delivery Delays

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding if delays occur.

Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because the site is inaccessible, unsafe, or no suitable unloading location is available, the customer may be responsible for additional delivery or redelivery charges.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of bulk landscape materials, delivered bulk products are generally not eligible for return or refund once unloaded.

Please verify your order carefully before completing your purchase.
